On June 29, 2009, IDT finalized its acquisition of Tundra Semiconductor Corporation welcoming the world-class people and value-add solutions from Tundra to the IDT family.
As a result of the Tundra addition, IDT now offers our customers an unparalleled combination of PCI and PCI Express® switches and bridges and Serial RapidIO® solutions, not to mention the very long list of leading product families also offered by both companies. With the combined resources of IDT and Tundra, IDT will continue providing innovative solutions for our customers’ system interconnect problems, while ultimately helping to create endless possibilities for experiencing digital media within the communications, computing and consumer markets.
Tundra’s design services division, Silicon Logic Engineering, Inc., will operate as a subsidiary of IDT, offering industry-leading ASIC and FPGA design services, semiconductor intellectual property and product development consulting.
