Christian Kermarrec
Vice President & General Manager, Timing & Synchronization Division and Wireless Systems
Christian Kermarrec is the vice president and general manager for the TSD (Timing and Synchronization Division) and Wireless Systems in IDT’s Communications Division. In these dual roles, Kermarrec is responsible for expanding and growing Company leadership in silicon timing, frequency control for all end-markets, and timing and standard products for wireless, telecom and data communications.
Kermarrec is an industry veteran with 35 years of experience in general management and technical leadership. Prior to joining IDT, Kermarrec was corporate vice president and president of MediaTek’s wireless operations in the United States and Europe. Kermarrec joined MediaTek in 2008 through its acquisition of Analog Devices’ RF and Wireless Business Unit. During his 18 years as vice president of the Wireless Business Unit, Kermarrec built a business that grew to over $500M in sales.
Prior to joining Analog Devices, Kermarrec held various technical and management functions at M/A-COM and Tachonics in the United States, Spar Aeroscape in Canada, and Philips and Alcatel in France.
Kermarrec holds an M.S. in electrical engineering from the Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers (CNAM), France.
