Subramanyan Dakshinamoorthy (Dakshi)
Subramanyan Dakshinamoorthy leads the company wide global network for operations responsible for manufacturing, quality and reliability for product and solutions and customer satisfaction.
Dakshi brings over three decades of distinguished leadership position in quality, operations and manufacturing. Dakshi joined IDT from Freescale Semiconductor, where he served most recently as VP of Final Manufacturing Engineering and Probe Operations. Prior to that role, as the Vice President of Quality, he led a global team in implementing the company’s highly successful “Zero Defects” program. During his career at Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector, Dakshi held several leadership and management positions including the Director of Quality, Director for Reticle Technology Center, a joint venture between AMD, DuPont, Micron and Motorola, Vice President of Tohoku Semiconductor Corp, a joint venture between Motorola and Toshiba and Site and Operations manager at the MOS15 Fab in Research Triangle Park, NC. His experience includes senior management position at Western Digital where he set up technology transfer and foundry relationship with AT&T Bell Labs and Microelectronics. He began his career in 1976 at General Instruments and subsequently worked at Storage Technology Corporation.
Dakshi holds a Master in Materials Science degree from the State University of New York and a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgy degree from the Indian Institute of Technology.
