PCI Express Non-Volatile DRAM Controller
The 89HF08P08AG3 is a member of IDT’s family of PCIe enterprise NV-DRAM controllers. It is a single chip DDR3 SDRAM controller and 8-channel NAND Flash controller with PCIe Gen3 x8 or dual independent PCIe Gen3 x4 (active/active or active/standby) host interface. Built around a combination of DRAM and NAND flash devices, the controller reads and writes data directly into DDR3 DRAM. When power-down is detected, the DRAM contents are backed-up into NAND flash. The F08P08AG3 supports up to 32GB of DDR3 SDRAM, with configurable data rate from DDR3-800 through DDR3-1600. The controller is designed to fully comply with the NVMe standard.
