Single-Phase High-Performance Wide-Span Energy Metering SoC
The IDT 90E46 is a single-phase energy meter SoC based on IDT's proven energy measurement technology (AFE series). It includes an ARM 32-bit low-power, high-performance Cortex M0 CPU, integrated with a myriad of critical functions in a single, cost-effective IC. The IDT 90E46 is suitable for single-phase smart energy meters that measure active/reactive energy and display them with very limited external components. IDT's proprietary ADC and DSP digital technology ensures the 90E46's long-term stability over variations in grid and ambient environment conditions.

- Full compliance with IEC62052-11, IEC62053-21, IEC62053-23, ANSIC12.1 and ANSIC12.20
- Accuracy of 0.1% for active energy and 0.2% for reactive energy over a dynamic range of 5000:1
- Temperature coefficient is 6 ppm/ºC (typical) for on-chip reference voltage
- Forward/ reverse active/ reactive energy with independent energy registers and energy outputs
- Programmable L line and N line metering modes
- Less than ±0.5% fiducial error for Vrms, Irms, mean active/ reactive/ apparent power, frequency, power factor and phase angle
- 32-bit ARM Cortex M0 core with 6k bytes RAM and 128k bytes program flash
- 4 UARTs, supporting Infra-red modulation and hardware ISO7816
- 2 channel 12-bit GP-ADC with high accuracy internal reference voltage, and 1 channel low power comparator
- Up to 45 GPIOs provided, including 4 external interrupt inputs and 1 clock (32.768KHz or compensated 1Hz) output
- Normal, Idle, Standby, and LCD Display modes provided
- ±1ºC accuracy temperature sensor over industrial temp. range
- Hardware RTC with hardware frequency compensation function
- 4Com x 34Seg / 6Com x 32Seg or 8Com x 30Seg LCD Driver
- Single 32.768 kHz crystal and single 3.3V power supply
