SAW PLL Simulator Software
The SAW PLL Simulator is a downloadable PC application that simulates the following characteristics of the SAW PLL products: jitter, wander transfer, passband peaking, and bandwidth. It allows the SAW PLL user to set external loop filter component values to achieve the desired PLL performance characteristics for a given application.
Download Procedure
| 1. Register & Download the PLL Simulator. | A brief sign-up form precedes the actual download. |
| 2. Extract the simulator files from the .zip file | M2000PIISimulation.exe M000-AN-002.PLLSimReadMe.pdf |
| 3. Dowonload LabVIEW from National Instruments. | Save the 14 MB LVRunTimeEng.exe file to your computer. (it is Run-time Engine version6.1.) |
| 4. Run LVRunTimeEng.exe to install LabVIEW | You can accept the default directory location offered. |
| 5. Run M2000PIISimulation.exe to start simulator. | Opens the PLL Simulator program’s window. |
| 6. Read the M000-AN-002.PLLsimReadMe.pdf file. | Refer to the “readme” file for simulator instructions. |
