The IDT PCIe switching solution is a 48-lane, 12-port system interconnect switch with an advanced architecture that supports multiple simultaneously transactions between system processors and intelligent I/O peripherals to provide guaranteed line rate throughput and deterministic latency. The high-performance switching solution enables the H3C Firewall/VPN system to support 40Gbps data throughput while simultaneously protecting a network from external security attacks to guarantee internal network security, and implement URL filtering and application layer filtering.
Additionally, the H3C security solution leverages IDT system interconnect solution’s rich suite of features, including integrated support for multi-processor failover to ensure system reliability and two virtual channels enabling direct support for quality of service.
