Renesas MCUs coupled with sensor signal conditioners (SSCs) create a solution that enables faster time-to-market, provides a systems support model, and reduces debug cycles for direct injection system applications.

Direct injection systems, in which a high-pressure fuel pump pressurizes the fuel for injection directly into the cylinder by an injector, provide greater freedom in the injection timing and volume than multi-point injection (MPI) systems. This can be expected to provide improved fuel economy.
