Mario Montana is managing director of IDT Europe GmbH. In February 2017, Mario Montana was appointed Vice President and Corporate General Manager of the Automotive and Industrial Group. Prior to this appointment, he served as Vice President and Chief Sales Officer from 2013 to 2017 and was the Vice President and general manager for the IDT Enterprise Computing Division from 2005 to 2013 where he was responsible for driving IDT’s solutions addressing servers, storage and embedded communications applications. He lead the development of products in the area of Memory Interface (R-DIMM), PCI-Express® Switching, Enterprise Flash Controllers and Signal Integrity Products. He was also instrumental in managing the company’s strategic focus on standards-based switching, bridging and interconnect technologies.

Montana has held several positions during his 15+ years with IDT, including Director of the IDT Serial-Switching division. Before transitioning to the Serial-Switching division, Montana was director of the IDT strategic marketing group, where he was instrumental in many of the company’s acquisitions, including ZettaCom and IMC, which set the stage for the company’s entry into the serial-switching business, and prompted opportunities for the company to have a stronger presence in key market segments, including servers, storage and communications. Montana also served as product line director for the company’s telecommunications, FIFO, logic and timing groups, respectively.

Prior to joining IDT, Montana held several product marketing and development engineering positions with companies such as Zarlink Semiconductor, Exar, Raytheon and Hewlett Packard.

Montana received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University.

Frank Schulze is managing director of IDT Europe GmbH and leads the industrial product line of the Automotive and Industrial Division (AID) at IDT Europe GmbH. Previously, he held various management positions at ZMD AG; between 2005 and 2014 Frank was responsible for the automotive business as business unit manager and member of the executive management team. Prior to joining ZMD AG in 2001, he worked as engineering manager, field application engineer and design engineer at AMI GmbH in Dresden and field design centers of American Microsystems Inc. in the US. Frank has more than 20 years of broad experience in the semiconductor industry, ranging from semiconductor development and marketing, to business and strategy development.

As managing director of IDT Europe GmbH, which is the European headquarters of IDT Inc., he is responsible for managing and developing the company and the worldwide business of the Automotive and Industrial Division (AID).
michael-ohletz.jpgDr. Michael J. Ohletz, VP Automotive Quality IDT & GM Operations Dresden.
Dr. Ohletz is responsible for IDT’s corporate automotive quality and the automotive test production and supply chain at IDT Europe’s Dresden site. Previously, he was Executive VP Corporate & Strategic Quality and until 2012 Executive VP Corporate Operations & Quality, both at ZMD AG, which he joined in 2006. Prior to ZMD AG, he worked at AMIS and Alcatel Microelectronics in Brussels and Oudenaarde, Belgium, where he held various management positions in R&D and the Automotive Mixed-Signal Business Unit.

Christian Wolf is Vice President of Engineering for the Automotive and Industrial Division (AID) at IDT Europe GmbH. Previously he led the R&D activities of ZMD AG where he was technical director and member of the executive management team. Prior to joining ZMD AG, he worked as Engineering Director for the Mobile Systems Business Group at Dialog Semiconductor.He has over 17 years of experience in architecture definition, system design and integrated circuit development for automotive and mobile applications.

As VP of Engineering at IDT Europe he oversees all R&D activities in the automotive and industrial division. He is responsible for R&D strategy and execution of new product developments at the circuit and system level.
